pdf file ?

would anyone have a pdf file .....or just a pic of how the vaccum hose hook up on the petcock on a 1986 vf 500 interceptor

The vacuum hose goes to the vacuum chamber on the back of the tap.
The fuel hose goes to the fuel outlet.

thank you bladeracer....you always come thru....i got a new petcock ...an wanted to make sure i hookrd the vaccum up right....the petcock has a 90' that i think goes to the cyclinder vaccum an then another one that comes out straight which goes back to the carb should have been small pipe ....but its gone so i just used hose ....now seems like i'm not grtting much gas....throttle up just stalls....or acting like its starving for gas....

Make sure the hose is not kinked or collapsing from the vacuum.

If you mean the ignition timing, it shouldn't be adjustable.
If you really need to for some reason you would have to slot the holes in the pulse generator pickups. Or if you're only playing with it for diagnostics you can pull the rotor off and remove the woodruf key. Then install the rotor where you want it to trigger the pickups. I wouldn't ride it with any hard acceleration or deceleration without the key in it though. If it spins on the crank you will probably be chasing a new crank.

Actually, I just had a look at the fiche and the VF500 starter clutch rotor is splined onto the crank rather than on a taper so you can't adjust the rotor.
