Re: New clutch slipping
So initially it could have been the cable. Might want to get one just because.
Typically the cable will be overstretched and the clutch will fail to disengage and will drag the bike, causing the engine to stall at full stops and die. Thanks for diagnosing my F4i - it will likely need a new cable soon as it's draggy.
In the case of a new clutch slipping my first thoughts are:
- Were the plates installed in the correct order?
- Were the plates soaked in oil prior to installation?
