Move to the 599. A third less engine, a third less exhaust.

| Re: Exhaust Stink open the garage door?
i thought the passenger pegs were only there so you could bill it as "practical transportation" to your s.o. when looking at it in the dealer, but they come off before you actually ride it |

I've got no idea what you are talking about!!! But then again I'm anosmic so thats not surprising.
P.S.
A person who can't see is blind
A person who can't smell is anosmic, or has anosmia

| Re: Exhaust Stink the bikes with underseat exhaust are bad for this... The exhaust rolls in the turbulence behind the rider and YOU soak it all up... |

| Re: Exhaust Stink sorry, haven't been on for awhile...
Honda919Rider has modified the 919 to have, oh about 30 different single exhaust solutions...several others have taken his lead
this does in fact relocate the exhaust to a standard, single sideded low mount exhaust... http://www.motorush.com has a NakedBikes forum, he spends time there as well as Cycleworld Forums...
he also maintains a yahoo site: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/H9R/
fyi, many aftermarket exhausts help this issue, as does adding a pc3, the stock map is a bit rich...granted, those are both expensive options, but i mod everything i own anyway |

| Re: Exhaust Stink while i'm thinking of it...
check http://www.919.org for the writeup on Sato exhausts...
i was pullin my Moriwakis off this afternoon and bolting on the Sato's and I remember that the Version 1 Satos have the shorter tailpipe on the can...the newer Version 2 Satos have a longer extension and it's turned downward...
the newer pipers are also higher volume cans and drop the noise dBs somewhat...which is a good thing if u've heard the original Satos
me i like the noise, opened up the airbox w/ a stack from a small block chevy...compliments of honda919rider...she breathes better now, rev's faster and sounds Great!
check over on http://www.motorush.com for the Nakedbikes.net signature forum for much more detailed info
