| Re: 954 motor in the 919? yeah...the intermot rumors started flyin last month, sakima posted somethin in the 919 News area over at project919.com
sarge on CF reported that the italians were grumbling about intermot rumors and a possible swap w/ either the 954/1000RR lump
we had 919maniac get to work on the translation...it was lookin like a 1000rr lump then janet from the yahoo900 group mentioned that MCN had reported a possible 954 lump...still a decent upgrade
then we all started to lament the possible, in fact likely, 'detuning' that honda will peform
now finally, about a month later, Dirck chimes in w/ the rumor....better late than never....
tell you what though, i appreciated Dirck's series of writeups on the 919 listed over on project919, lookin forward to the next installment in the 'Evolution of the 919' |

| Re: 954 motor in the 919? bore out a 919 and you get a 945 or a 970
take a 954, oversive it a tiny bit...it's a 959 (Porsche), so maybe a 969?
979? nah...
maybe they'll just use, Hornet 900...like they do on the rest of the planet for that model...naaaaah
969 is my guess and i'm stickin to it! |
