New CB1000F

Like a Fireblade, except ugly and with crap components.

Different frame, swingarm too. And I'm not entirely convinced I'm looking at a 1000RR motor. The only thing I recognize is the clutch slave cyl.

Spotted at Paris show:

Re: New CB1000F

THe adjustable seating position is a good idea, and it looks like it has a trunk. But man is it ugly.

Looks more like an old CBR900RR that's been **** on than a 1000RR.

Re: New CB1000F

Looks like a cross between a SV1000 a Kawi z1000 and a new style VFR...Don't think that it would do very well here

I've got an idea...take the 1000RR leave the engine, brakes and supension, change the seating and grip positions to a more "relaxed" setting and remove all of the plastic other than a bit for wind protetion and sell that for $8500 canandian

Canada post has came and gone, now they are coming again ...

Sounds good to me. Give it a big round headlight, bullet-shaped instrument pods, a stubby tail and offer an accessory flyscreen.

This abomination shares little if anything with the 1000RR.

Re: New CB1000F

I would like to see something other than the same old same old 3 spoke rims too, maybe something like the RC30'S & RC45's had?

I would also like to see something like a ten spoke on the 1000RR too but that may just be wishful thinking...

I just took another look at that and it appears to have a 5 or 6 spoke rim on it but still, time to replace the 3 spokes on all the other bikes...
