| Re: do you have a 919? or am I the only one? I have an '04 and absolutely love it!! Lots of mods and many more to come. I'm slowly gathering parts to put an RC51 front end on there... we'll see how that goes. I also have a complete CBR 954 front end that I've contemplated... What would you guys recommend as the overall best gearing - a good compromise between street and track use? I don't want it to be buzzy on the street, and I also don't want an all-out hooligan machine that's useless for the occasional track days. I bought the bike used with 16/43 and after a few weeks put a 17t on the front, but didn't notice much of a difference. My chain and rear sprocket are almost ready to be replaced so I figured I'd ask what people like and why, before I'm ready to buy a new set. Thanks, -Mike |

| Re: do you have a 919? or am I the only one? i run the vortex 15/45 520 conversion street so far, one 400 mile trip to miami with that gearing, it's fun go through the gearbox pretty quickly,nice low end decent top end haven't been to the track yet, don't know how it compares there. |

I've got one, got my license in February 06, bought an 02 in April, rode it a lot, then for the month of July I flew that bike from Canada on the same plane I was on to London, and I did a Europe tour of the UK, France, Monaco, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. She's parked in Heidelberg Germany right now awaiting my second Europe tour in either April or May 2007... the bike is fantastic and my first experience of motorcycles in my life is also absolutely fantastic. I couldn't have asked for more! |

| Re: do you have a 919? or am I the only one? i have an '06 and i love it. it's the perfect bike for me. i've been doing some mods slowly but surely. i've been doing mostly visual stuff like the fender eliminator and signals. i recently changed the bars and mirrors. more forward bars and sleeker mirrors. i will be changing the seat, brake lines and exhaust soon and i'm also looking into fitting an inverted fork front end as well. |
