| Lowering a 919 I know this has probably been addressed before, but i can't find it anywhere. I would like to lower my bike, the front is no problem, the rear is. Is there anyway to do this short of buying a shorter shock? |

| Re: Lowering a 919 You may have to get a machine shop to fab up some lowering links. The 919 is not a popular bike to lower, so I doubt you will find anything off the shelf. |

| Re: Lowering a 919 I know it sounds strange, but a shorter shock actually lifts the bike. You can have someone rebuild the shock |

I also know the stock Hawk GT(NT650) shock is shorter than the CBR900, and mounts direct to the swing arm. Not sure how either of those compare to the 919, but might be something to check on |

| Re: Lowering a 919 I read a while back on another board about someone lowering a 599. Different animal I know, but it should be possible on the 919. It's not something I've considered I'm 6'4"...
I'll try to find the post and put up a link. Keep us informed if you find something. |

| Re: Lowering a 919 I found a UK site that lists a lowering kit for the 900 Hornet. It's not cheap but here it is... LINK |
