Givi rack vs. exhausts

Hi, did anyone ever tried to put topcase on their 919 equipped with aftermarket exhausts? I have a Givi rack which fits rather nicely if the original exhausts are on but recently I bought an Arrow slip-on set and since then I cannot put the Givi rack back
OK, everything has its cost but does anyone have an idea how to use my Givi topcase and my Arrow exhausts?
Of course I could saw off the part of the rack which runs below the tail and rely on the 4 bolts that holds the handle but I don't know if it's really that durable...
Of course if I have to choose, the Arrow set is favoured
Thanks in advance

I don't know about the 919, but on some bikes GIVI has a top mount kit that doesn't go down to the passenger pegs. You might want to look into that option, which could be the cost of a mounting kit. It basically just mounts the top plate (which you have) to mounting points at the seat.

Re: Givi rack vs. exhausts

Wow, thanks for the hint! Unfortunately Givi doesn't have such mount but I just found a Krauser on Twisted Throttle. It consists two parts: the mount and an adapter for Krauser top cases. I hope I'll be able to fasten my Givi adapter to this mount... and then all my problems gone
BTW, it also looks better than the GIVI rack. Well, thanks again! I'll report back if I got it installed.

Re: Givi rack vs. exhausts

Hi, just an update: I've finally received the Krauser mount and installed it! It works wonderful with the slip-ons. It is fastened in the place of the original handrail with 4 screws. Both the mount and the screws are in black finish. Looks great on my bike (it is also black)! I like it much more than the Givi stuff I had before. The only inconvenience was that I had to drill two holes into the plate to be able to fasten the Givi adapter to it but it's nothing. Also it doesn't guard the tail as the Givi mount did but looks a way better.
