919 engine management system

Hi, does anyone know if 919 (CB 900F) has open or closed engine management system?
All I know is to reconfigure/override fuel management system I would need PC III, but is the stock system able to adjust itself to an aftermarket exhaust or air filter?
BTW: do you have experience with aftermarket air filters? Is it worth to replace the OEM one? Many thanks!

Re: 919 engine management system

Everything I have read said that the stock air filter work better than ALL of the aftermarket ones (including the famous K&N).

Yes, I also tried to get some insight to this air filter mystery and got the same conclusion.
I was just wondering if I put on an air filter with better throughput it would match my Arrow exhausts because after putting the exausts on I didn't feel much of a power increase...

Just run a map for your Arrow exhausts. I did the flapper mod and I think that did a little help. Go to 919.org on how to do that.

I've also got Flapper mod and I think it helps a bit indeed but I don't have PC III unfortunately I don't know if it really worth the money
