| 919 OEM windshield Just wanted to give a little info. I really liked the OEM windshield for my 919, but had kind of a hard time finding one. I thought other people might have the same problem. I'm not affiliated w/ this web site at all, just had great service w/ them. If anyone's having trouble finding one, let me know and I'll send you the info.

| Re: 919 OEM windshield wassup cmelnick, I gotta 03 919 and at about 155 MPH a person sure could use a windscreen. I have been searching for an acceptable one, maybe you could send some info on how to locate an OEM model.

Thanx ToppGunn_69 | OEM 919 Screen
Many people will paint the inside a matte or gloss black to make it blend a little better. |

I know there's a lot of people that don't like the look of the OEM, and that sounds like a good way to make it look different. I personally love the way it looks. I've got the '06 niner, so not sure if there's a color that would complement the red well...smoke it is, for me. |

| Re: 919 OEM windshield I had the OEM screen on until recently and liked the way it looked with the red. But I just swapped out the stock headlight for some Dual Dominators and the stock screen had to go (wouldn't fit without some excessive trimming). I'm going to go shieldless for a while and see how it goes. If I need one, probably pick up a Buell M2 or Zero Gravity.

| Re: 919 OEM windshield Fly N Cycle, Inc. "Dominator" Twin and Single Headlights
They are plug-n-play, but it takes a while to neatly protect and hide all the wiring that it's in the stock headlight dome. I used some big heat shrink to protect the connectors and then wrapped it up in split tube. |

By the way: this is first post on this board. Glad to be here.

Those are Renthal Ultra Low bars on a Honda 919 and I love 'em! |

| Re: 919 OEM windshield Thanks, Ken. How do those bars affect the reach? I like the stock reach (at least, while perched on the bike in the showroom) and the resulting sitting position. |

| Re: 919 OEM windshield The Renthals are a bit lower and wider. There is a measurement chart of all of the aftermarket bars for the 919 here in a another post recently. Search for Suburban or Renthal in this forum section and you'll find it.
I liked the posture on the 919. But the slightly more aggressive position of the Renthals works for me. You're just slightly more lean into the wind and that helps if you do not have a screen like me. They are also less buzzy than the stock bars. |

| Re: 919 OEM windshield I got an OEM windshield thrown in for nothing with the purchase of my '07 919. It's quite the bug deflector. |

From what I've read over on wrirsttwisters.com, the Sato cans have a much deeper growl than the bored out stock cans. It's likely that the Sato's are giving more power as well. And they sure do look amazing! |
