900RR cam in 919?

Im new to the forum and want to know id the RR cams will drop in the 919... anyone do it?

From ratdog on project919.org, "the 900rr cam is not a drop-in for the 919...the lack of a pulse sensor being the first problem

leveraging a cam in the 919 is fighting the design of the 919...port / injector sizes among other things have all been tuned for midrange...to really get the bike runnin on the cam you need to make a number of changes (porting among other things). the 9r just isn't going to give you the same relative % improvement as a sportsbike due to the "midrange tuning"

what about swaping out the head with a RR (keeping the fuel injection)?

i know you would run out of revs where the power would really be usable but would the head fit at all???

Really not sure -- best to pose this question over on wristtwisters.com - those guys have as much 919 wrench time and history as anyone.
