| Sooo.... So after I wrecked my 97 CBR and broke my wrist 3 months ago, I decided it was time for a new bike (Sold both my old ones, the shadow and the CBR). I picked up a 2004 919 with 1700 miles and a 2 year warranty for 5000. Must say it's perfect for me, gets up and goes when I want it to, without being quite as sketchy as the CBR was. | |

| Re: Sooo.... Congrats! I saw one at Marcus Dairy (Bike hangout in CT) this weekend and I think all it had was aftermarket suspension. I love the flat black paint job and the upright sitting position. Nice bike  |

| Re: Sooo.... MaxwellEdison, Congrats on the new ride! I've had many bikes but have had more fun on this 919 than any I've owned. For me, it's a great compromise between power, weight, comfort, affordability, and fun! You are sure to get many miles of smiles from her. Luvfender, If you saw a black 919 at the Marcus Dairy it was probably Mister Mike. He has a very nicely modified 919 -- Sargent seat, Galfer lines, Sato rear sets, etc -- and he is a moderator over on Wrist Twisters Performance where a LOT of 919 owners hang. |

| Re: Sooo.... Broke my ulna in two spots and dislocated everything in my wrist when the rear tire lifted on the CBR and it went spinning around the steering axis, sending my wrist right into the tank. Had 2 pins and 3 months worth of cast/brace action. D: |
