Oil in a 919

Ok, I have just over 500 miles on my 919 so I'm getting ready to change the oil. I think it has Torco T-4 (10w-40) in it from the dealer. Anybody have any comments/suggestions about oil brands?

Honda synthetic (HP4) is sweetness. Synthetic ftw.

Do a search as there are plenty of oil threads. Every forum has hundreds of them.

Of all the synth and standard oils I've run in bikes, I've been most impressed with Mobil 1 Gold Cap Full Synthetic. Very durable and makes shifts butter smooth.

Use whatever the manual recommends... If your dealer is anything like the one in my town they will blame every mechanical problem on you for not following the recommended maintenance in the manual...
