Stock Honda flasher that plugs straight in for LED indicators

Am in Sydney and for the first time I bought a brand new bike - it's a Candy Blaze Orange CB900F6 (though built end '06).

I put on some LED indicators. After a big of searching I found a stock Honda flasher that works fine (not fast) with 2 or all 4 indicators replaced by LED ones (they need less power) so it varies the output with different load OK and hazard lights work fine too.

It's a Honda XR trail bike one. (Mine was a cheap aftermaket replacement part, $20). It's slightly bigger in size but fits fine in stock location with stock rubber grommet mount.

The markings on it are:
C.L GB8-201-01
38301-MF8-971
12.8V 85c/m
23(21)wx2 + 3.4W

You're lucky. I put LED's on my 954 and had all sort's of dramas. The flasher relay is incorporated into the guages and isn't accessable. Had to put resistors all round to get them working right. Alot of frigging around but all is good now.

I installed a universal flasher relay from VFX. The cost was $14.95 directly from VFX. On the 07 1000RR, the relay is mounted behind the left mid fairing and easy to replace. The resistors that come with LED signals can get very hot and cause damage to the bike if not mounted properly.
