new front signals/fender eliminator

Hello everyone, I've been looking at putting a few new things on my bike, obviously I'd like to take the snow shovel off the rear tire, and at the same time I'd like to replace the front turn signals. I think I've decided on the Competition Werkes fender, but as far as the front turn signals go, I've no ideas. I like the Proton ones, esp with the fade in/out or strobe features, but I don't know which one's will fit. What have you guys chosen for your replacements, and how did you like them, fit, style, visibility, etc. I am especially curios about how they go on, do they sit on top of the mount, fit inside, some other way? Any pictures and thoughts would be great. I don't really want to spend 90 bucks and then hate the things because they don't fit right. Thanks!

-Adam
