Hello,
I just bought a 94 honda cb 1000. So far I love it. Great torque, good handling. My previous bike had been 87 honda vfr, 00 vfr and a 97 gsxr 750. i bought the big one because the gsxr was going to get me into trouble plus i wanted a more relaxed riding position since i ride pretty much everyday. My question for all of you is where can i find a cafe fairing for my headlight. i would like to cut the wind a bit while riding on the freeway. Also, can you fit a 17in rim on the bike. And lastly i would love to get a pipe on this thing. i hate the cat and the quiet stock pipe. Any info would be gretly appreciated.

Hi Jason,

Yes, it´s possible to fit 17" rim´s on your Big one.
For rear you can use the one from a CBR1000F DCBS (1992>)
Front you can use from the VTR1000 (Super Hawk) or CBR1100XX (Blackbird) Carburator model
Both without any problem.
The advantage is better handling and a wider choice of tires
I´ve done this a couple of weeks ago and can tell you that I should have done this earlier
