919 PARTS HELP!

Im having a hell of a time finding any parts resources for my Honda 919, especially Frame Sliders. That is my main concern, cant find any anywhere! Anyone know some websites or anything that might have anything like that?
Appreciate any help you can give!

Re: 919 PARTS HELP!

I have bought some parts at babbits, google it for the correct url.
Frame sliders I bought directly from Motovation and the only ones that worked on my '07 919 were:
Honda CB900F / 919 Hornet Frame Sliders
They have some rear sliders but you need attachment points that may have existed on earlier models but weren't on mine.

Re: 919 PARTS HELP!

Did those sliders require any drilling?

Re: 919 PARTS HELP!

Yes, the Motovation sliders required drilling. If you look at the bottom of the wishbone frame piece you will notice a piece of round stock. It has a .030 hole in it and you have to drill it to .040 (10mm). I was leary of it at first, but when looking at how solid everything was, I decided it really wasn't a big deal.
Fortunately, I can't tell you how they work but as I mentioned in another post somewhere, the other point of contact was the rear peg. Specifically, the Aluminum pieces that hold the peg, and they probably won't survive another slide. I would really like to get some kind of slider in there somewhere, but I will have to get a mount welded somewhere.

Later, Guy
