Help, need to make a backup HISS key?!? Honda Hornet 2004, 600cc

Help, today I did something stupid (yes believe me I know),
I accidently while trying to gass up, broke my key half way inside the gas-tank... It just happened today.

Now thankfully I have a spare key (original) so I managed to get home, but I don't know how to make a new key for backup... it's a HISS System and I read that you can program it, if you have at least 1 original one that works. >>> how to go about this? >>> I hear about code or something?

That isn't really my biggest problem. the biggest problem is that I'm in Thailand, and for all who are aware of the thai situation. They got ALOT of stupid policies...

You got to import the big bikes "grey" from Japan or elsewhere, as you cannot buy Big Bikes in Thailand officially from HONDA directly for instance or at least not the awesome BIG BIG bikes ones... they're not made in Thailand. In short it's all about corruption and everybody wants to make money out of doing it the "legal" way. which happens to be impossible to achieve, as they put the bars too high, but you can always pay your way out of course

So most bikes are imported and you get an "invoice" paper (which doesn't mean much just that it isn't stolen as all the numbers are correct with frame etc) except that you can turn it into an legal licence plate for 2000-3000 usd.

So according to some thai dealers, losing and reprogramming such a key would cost 1500 usd and 2-3 months (which is a bunch of bull!)

Thing is the bike didn't come with a manual and I cannot turn to most thai dealers as they want to squeeze out ALOT of money...

Anybody has advice how to go about it... I would greatly apriciate any help. I just want to make 2 more spare keys, just in case...

And for those ppl who are gonna post useless stuff and waste bandwith, like bike is stolen, prove yourself etc.. "please don't", I already pissed at myself for braking the key inside.... post like that will be ignored... sorry to sound so straightforward but I'm looking for a solution, not to be pissed at... hope you understand.

Thanks in advance...

Since you still have the key (well Im guessing at least the important half!) at worst you could just get a normal key cut and glue the top half of the snapped key to it.
Sure its a backyard fix, but if its going to be your backup it should work.
