Re: MIVV exhaust on 919

i had the mivv GP exhaust on my f4i, and i have to be honest, its only any good with the baffle in, when i took it out it was just a monstrous horrible loud shouting noise, it wasnt nice, and it didnt run right so needed some serious mapping, the x-cone may be different, but i would expect to get pulled with one on!!

Re: MIVV exhaust on 919

loved my Satos, but now I have a single low mount on the 919.. you can achieve this buy buying some stock headers for a 98ish 900rr and getting a can to install. I love my new setup, and no more stink when I get to work.

Re: MIVV exhaust on 919

sorry for the delayed response. got my x-cones on a few weeks ago and i love them. they weigh about 9.5lbs less than stock exhaust which is a huge plus. the hornet can stand to lose a few pounds if ya ask me. anyways, fitment was perfect, construction appears to be top notch, sound is incredible. i opted to start the bike up with silencers in and immediately took them out. really sounds amazing. throttle response is improved and power is definately up. it will loft the front wheel much easier now. for the price, i think it is probably the best exhaust out there for the 919. excellent job mivv!!!! here are a few pics of them installed on my bike. . .
