| Long term effects no exhaust what are the long term effects on running no exhaust on my 919, where it splits at the cat i ran two pipes towards the back no mufflers because i really wanted the GPmoto sound but there are no exhaust kits for the 919 that i like (not loud enough) i've been going a week so far no problems, i do have to say it sounds very nice |

| Re: Long term effects no exhaust Long term effect is loss of hearing.
Suggest you get somebody else to ride your bike past you so that you can hear how loud those plain pipes really are. |

| Re: Long term effects no exhaust You are kidding, right?
If not, how about a dramatic loss of H/P as a long term effect of running straight pipes? Do yourself and your fellow sport bike enthusiasts a favor, and put a proper exhaust on it. |

| Re: Long term effects no exhaust I think the loss of back pressure could be slighly rectified by getting your bike on a dyno (although make sure your wearing ear mufflers)

| Re: Long term effects no exhaust look into a 900rr header swap, and the get a sato GP style canister for 300 bucks online. the exhaust will let the engine breath a little more and still sound great. |
