Need help no Horn

Hey to all,
I picked up a 02 919 the other day and I'm having some trouble with the horn not working. The guy said when he put a new battery in it the horn stop working, One other thing are the gauges suppose to move all the way to the right and back when you turn the key on ? There not doing that.
Just asking to know where to start.
Thanks, G-Rabbit,

On my 919 they go right up to the max, then come back down before the fuel pump has finished pressurising the fuel rail.

Hmmm. I wouldn't really know where to start. Do the clocks work other than go up and then down? Maybe some never did?

All I know is you don't want to be looking to buy another set of clocks. They come in four pieces, front cover, electric circuit board, white plastic part and rear cover. Total for a brand new set is about £700.
