| 900/919 interchangeability/commonality/modifications Got some questions on the 919's mill. Are the valves larger in the 900 and can a larger valve be used in a 919? (Aftermarket valves 1 mm larger can be had). Can custom aftermarket pistons for a 900 be used in a 919? (I believe 3 mm overbore forgings are available --can a 919 take an overbore that large, and if so, will it require larger sleeves; can it even be resleeved?) Can aftermarket cams for the 900 be used with the 919? How about a thinner headgasket to up compression -- is it safe considering the 919 has cast pistons? (Say, going to 11.5:1 and using premium fuel). How 'bout extrude-honing the 919's fuel injector body? Also, what about ARP rod bolts? I hear the 919's rods are good, but need better bolts. Any information would be appreciated -- Thanks!
