Oil in air box ? I was checking the air filter today and Its clean but there was a small amount of oil in the air box. About a 1/2 teaspoon was in the corner of the box. The oil was just changed and the level is just over the full line. The bike has 11,500 mile on it and I put the last 200 on it. so the bike is new to me Could someone tell me what to look for and how bad is it?

Re: Oil in air box ? A small amount of oil in the intake tract is normal. This could be in the airbox or around the throttle plate(s) (more common in cars). In most engines the crankcase breather and cylinder head cover (valve cover) breathers connect to the intake tract (somewhere between the airbox and intake manifold) -- unless you have disconnected them and directed them to a catch can or something.

Re: Oil in air box ? its normal to see a little bit. if you have a K&N or BMC filter you might see some from the filter too esp after a re-oiling

Re: Oil in air box ? If the bike has K&N or another washable filter, if too much filter oil was applied, some may leak off and collect at the bottom.
