94 CB1000

Hey all,
I'm new to the forum thing. Is this the proper forum for my bike? Its the closest I can find so far. Also, anyone know where I can find a center stand for my bike? Or is it better to buy a back wheel stand? I'm new to street riding and would like to learn more. Thanks.

Re: 94 CB1000

most of us on here have Fireblades, but there's all sorts of other stuff too, you're more than welcome with a CB1000. TBH you're the only person on here that I know of with a CB1000, but there are some good guys on here with lots of general technical knowledge that will apply to your bike too. Why not post up some pics - it'd be good to see something other than a Blade for a change.

As for a stand, I wouldn't know in America - I would suggest keeping an eye out on eBay or do some Google searches. Maybe a breakers might have one? If you can't get a centre stand, a paddock stand will have to do. There are also Abba stands which are really good - assuming there is a fitting kit for your bike - I would like one of these myself!

Re: 94 CB1000

I had a quick look for a CB forum - I couldn't find anything either. CBR's, Fireblades and VFR's have several, but that's not much help to you I guess.

Seems like you may as well hang around here then!

Re: 94 CB1000

Well if you have questions then post them up - they're a pretty helpful bunch on here.

Have you thought about doing some more training? I say this to everyone at the moment, purely because I am doing some further training at the moment myself, and have learned a lot from it so far. My training is through an Advanced Motorcyclists club, so I've also met a couple of decent people to ride with too.
