Finally broke in the 04 CRF450R

I have had it for a couple weeks but the LS case has been off waiting for the stator rewind and a new heavier flywheel. BTW, yes that is #46 next to an American Honda Woody Sticker. So what, very few dirt riders will know anything is wrong with this picture.

Overall I could not be any happier with the bike.

Re: Finally broke in the 04 CRF450R

What was your last bike? Do you race motocross?

I am getting a replacement for my KTM 520 in the next few months - I have narrowed it down to a 04 KTM 525SX or an 04 CRF450.

I rode the crap out of my buddies 02 CRF yesterday and loved it. It turns better and is more nimble than my 520. Not near the lowend power, but the topend ripped. I was impressed.

Somebody post that pic on the board. My corporate filter or something won't let me view that page grafix linked.

Re: Finally broke in the 04 CRF450R

That would be an honorable replacement for my all black KTM. Looks great -long live monochrome.

Thanks LTL.

Yeah, I sold the XR last Sept so I have been collecting parts all winter. I had the plastics, handguards, seatcover and DS kit before I bought the bike. Now I got the dayglo stockers for backups.

Na, my last bike was an XR400. I wanted a lighter "jib" bike to take to the Sand dunes, Caineville/Torrey and the local MX tracks.

- Thanks for the thumbnail L2L.
