| Re: Momma was a little upset... what the hell the kid weighs like 2-3 pounds less than me and is an inch shorter. why did I have to be born into a short family with both parents not liking bikes (of course I've bought 2 anyway)

I'm actually shopping around for a used XR/CRF to surprise her with. She's just nervous about her "baby" getting hurt, but it's all good. |

Several years after we were married, I confided to my wife that one of the reasons I chose her to be my wife was her height (she's about 5'10"). I wanted to do everything I could to ensure that any offspring would not be small in stature. |

| Re: Momma was a little upset... I bet, seems like Junior is turing out like dad. Probably not the dream she had for HER boy.
Teach them the responsibility early and it will carry them through life.
Now momma is pissed cause boyz will be boyz. Hey, now she has more alone time. Always a plus side. |

| Re: Momma was a little upset... +1 to all the above! My dad raced mx throughout the 70's, then I got started (with his help, much to my mom's dismay) when I was in 8th grade. After about 6 months of riding, my dad starts borrowing rides on my bike, then gets his own, then starts racing 40+ when he took me racing. We have ridden together ever since, and I wouldn't trade our time togaether for anything. Took it for granted through high school, but realized how lucky I was when other students in college were surprised by my great relationship with dad. Oh, and I might add-at 54, he jumps most anything wherever we go and is still pretty darn fast! I still get all excited about going riding with him, just like when I started. |
