i looked at an 02' in very nice original condition.the only thing i could see was fork seals and rear shock seal was leaking.not bad i guess. doesn.t look abused. just sold my 02' cr 250. i have been looking at 450's for awhile. does anyone have heard of any quirks on models varying from 02' -05' ? those are what i have been looking at. that 02' might be the ride .just gotta make decision and its priced rite

I ride an 07 crf450r,I bought it about a year ago,before that I had a yz125 about 6 years ago...biiiiggg difference,I had to change little things hear and there but it runs great and I've had no problems so far. I always hear how the honda has been the best bike for the the last 10 years in a row, A few of my friends also ride crf450's (05, 06 and 09) and the only one who has the worst luck is the 09, first time out it blew up, Honda fixed it, second time out it blew up again with barely 2 hours on it, it has been ok since but no problems with previous year models that I have ever heard of.
