Help with rear brakes

Does anyone no of a kit or how to convert a 1984 cr500 rear brakes to disc brakes?

you would have alot to replace but honestly i don't know of any kit....you could always try to find a wrecked bike (newer model like a kawasaki 250 or 500) you would have to measure the distance between the inner side of the swingarm, then find a suitable replacement wheel. once you find one, which would be close enough to work, then you would have to size it and true in the sprocket ensuring it's inline with the engine sprocket, you most likly will have to have shims made to space between the arms and wheel to ensure trueness, once you get that done, the rest is easy. you'll have to get the caliper, line, resevior, and slave cylinder(prefferable off the same junk bike) and take it to someone who welds and have them make the brackets to mount the caliper, resevoir and slave cylinder to your bike.

or.....leave it be. you only use roughly 25% rear braking. the rest is all front.
