| NO MORE KIDS DIRT BIKES FROM HONDA On August 14, 2008, Congress enacted the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA or Act). The Act was primarily in reaction to the recent influx of lead-tainted toys. The CPSIA requires manufacturers of "Children's Products," designed or intended primarily for children 12 years of age or younger, to meet increasingly stringent lead paint and lead content standards.
Honda's paint contains little or no lead and easily complies with even the most stringent requirement, however, some alloy materials commonly used to manufacture motor vehicles may inherently contain levels of lead that are above the current limits set forth in the Act.
Honda and other members of the Motorcycle Industry Council and Specialty Vehicle Institute of America are actively working to exempt the alloy parts for small motorcycles and ATVs from the terms of the Act. The lead embedded in the alloys used in these products is not transferred through typical use of these products.
What all of this means to you is that - without Congressional or CPSC action - Dealerships will not be able to sell new or used TRX 90, CRF 50F, CRF 70F, or CRF 80F models after February 10, 2009
With less than two weeks before this act goes into effect,
Sport Honda would like to offer you the opportunity
to get these units before there gone at a great price. Contact the store today for more details. 2009 Honda CRF®50F http://www.psndealer.com/dealersite/.../NV87075_1.jpg 2009 Honda CRF®70F http://www.psndealer.com/dealersite/.../NV87074_1.jpg 2009 Honda CRF®80F http://www.psndealer.com/dealersite/.../NV87073_1.jpg 2009 Honda TRX®90X |

| Re: NO MORE KIDS DIRT BIKES FROM HONDA Honda can still sell them , but the smaller bikes will just have to be marketed to a different group; people with dwarfism. What a parent buys a kid is their choice and Honda and their dealers cannot say sorry we can't sell this bike to you as we think it is for your kid. |

Got to find him a bigger bike eventually. He was looking at the KTM's the other day. I had to firmly inform him that he would not be getting a $4,500 65cc 2 stroke.
