Re: Got 'em!

how long till we see some piaa's on there and the whole lot of electrex and bajadesigns stuff?

Im sure there was some other thread in which this was thoroughly discussed - but what kept you from a 450f or 600r?
(its not multiple choice but I wont allow $ as an option either )

Yes, there was another thread, but neither of those were even in the running. The 450f is too expensive, is way more bike than I need, and it doesn't have a kickstand.

ok, Ill go search...

Yeah 6k for a bike you still have to tote somewhere to ride is a little steep - I hear ya there (as my YZ450 sits in a heated garage waiting for outside temps to get above 40° again ,)

"more then you need" is only true if its a 2stroke - but the XR prolly is more comfortable for hanging with the lady.

You're thinking of it all wrong - it simply doesen't burden you with the task of having to remove the heavy stocker and replace it with a quality aftermarket unit . Ill admit, I did have to invest a bit of cake in solving my vertical needs issue when there are no trees around.

note to self: I ride woods - odds of having trees in woods = pretty good. Self, you're a duma$$.

Anyways, congrats - that XR is bulletproof and appears to be perfect for your needs

Twin County. He has a dirt bike park (200acres) about 15 minutes from his store. I'll probably be joining that too.

What's cool is, I still have room for a 600RR or a 1000RR in there. (Just no money for one.)

Once you mix in a little dirt riding with your existing enthusiasm for sport-touring.....I'll wager that your next bike will be a DualSport....

I have an Idea. Get rid of the Big Bird, and sell the EX. Then buy the 1000RR. You don't need to ride two up.
