| Snow Well, after some precision finagling of the garage arrangement, I was able to get the XR400 out.  A cool side-effect of this is, I found some cool trails through the woods right at the back of our neighborhood! I'll have to explore them more indepthly when the snow melts.   | Re: Snow Ride  I remember with my KLR, I rode it one day in the snow then put it up without knocking the ice off and went to ride later. I couldnt restart it because water was frozen in the pipe. Mom wasnt home so I moved the coffee table out of the den, used what I thought was an old tarp (turned out to be a tablecloth  ), and rolled the bike infront of the fireplace to get it thawed to restart..... | Re: Snow Ride Yep, dirt bikes suck on ice. They're pretty fun in the snow though. And if you get real thirsty you just grab a handful of snow when you stop for a break....I crash too much to wear a Camelback. |
