| Re: Pretty much ready . . . You going to do some WERA events Abtech? If so then I might see you there in May. I think I blew out my ACL playing basketball last week (won't know for sure until the MRI is reviewed by the orthopedic doc). If I can get the leg back into shape enough to race then I plan on being there in May. |

I'll bet your Yammie would work just fine in the street group at Grattan w/o the fear of throwing it away . . . |

| Re: Pretty much ready . . . Wanted to add a bit more about Saturday @ Grattan.
When I said it was cold, I was kidding . . . It was literally freezing most of the day, as my weather station showed temps hovering around 31 degrees until around 1:00 PM when it went up to about 38 degrees (all tempered by consistent 20 to 30 mph cross winds throughout the day . . .).
By the last session (around 4:00 PM), it was still mid thirties with rain and bits of sleet. I got caught out on the tires during this session, as the sweeper was getting more moisture than the rest of the track and while traversing the pavement transitions at the kink, I lost the front end, then the back end midway through the fifth lap. I was able to save it, but decided that a medium front and hard rear (probably 3 years old as well) weren't going to come in on a cold/wet track.
The bike ran like a raped ape all day and the few times I was ontrack with anything close (GSXR 750 and another RC), I definitely was able to reel them in w/o any problem. The bottom of the map (at partial throttle settings) is pretty whacked, as it has major "on/off" switch characteristics while trying to maintain constant throttle mid corner. I hope to get it into Windsor for some dyno time in the next couple of weeks.
The new shock and Dan's link are the hot setup. This is the first time since I was running the 250s that I could come in after 20 minutes on track and not want to mess with the shock settings
All in all, a typical Michigan first time out.
BTW, as usual the sun came out at 5:05 PM and it warmed up to the mid 40s . . . We also got 2 to 3 inches of snow last night |

| Re: Pretty much ready . . . Man I love white RC!!! Looks great GMan. BTW, what does an infamous G-Man SP2 wing kit run? I might be up for one when I paint my race skinz, and I might have to borrow some ideas on the design too.

Chris | Wing kit is $75 to your door USPS. Complete oem decal kits (basically all the stock oem logos) is also $75.
Both kits can be done in just about any color combination. |
