PCIII on 2003/03 Does anyone have any advice or practical experience with placing a PCIII on an 04/03 bike? I am looking for personal experiences and whether or not there was a noticable difference in the bike's performance. I am running Jardine slip-ons with no other mods to the system.

But it re-maps the fuel system and ignition (with the PCIIIR) to match the addition of the aftermarket pipes. I have one with a matching map for my Sato Exhaust. |

Re: PCIII on 2003/03 Thats cool, I heard that the big thing with PCIIIr is that it removes the emission controls at certain RPM that Honda uses to pass emission inspections and whatnot. I only have a slip-on Jardine set but I plan on getting the full highmount when they come out with it in June. That would then require PCIIIr.

Re: PCIII on 2003/03 If you have it mapped on the dyno, it'll give you much better on/off feel, smoother delivery, better fuel consumtion, more power, power made quicker etc. The bike will be much better to ride.

Only if the dyno tuner knows what the hell he is doing & the majority of them don't... http://www.rc51.org/dynotuning.htm

Re: PCIII on 2003/03 That's a pretty good article from Dan. And very true. But come on, you guys must know by now who you should and shouldn't take your bike to. Get it done.
