Did the "flapper mod", PC3USB, and Sato Bonzais to my brothers machine. Next up, pair valve mod.

Of the ~550 miles on it, about 220 are mine. Those things (RC51s) are BEASTS, makes switching back to the 600rr almost "toy like". And those Satos are LOUD.

Those cans look kinda short. Are they loud in a good way? As in, NOT D&D loud?

Yes, Bacchy the cans are short (light too). They are loud, but in a "booming" V-twin sorta' way. Not some God awful inline 4 scream D&D kinda' way.

Looks great!

I have the same undertail and was not sure if high-mount Sato's would squeeze tight or not. I thought Shoemethebombs said something about a tight fit, but from the looks of your pics they seem to fit fine...?

Is that specific to the Bonzai's or all Sato pipes?

Re: How I spent my day. BONZAI ------------>

Specific to the RC, each one will vary 8-10HP, same for the torque.

It is a tight fit. No doubt. Everything works out well with the way it goes together, its just a tight fit. I love the sound of them, and the power curve. Just wait til you take a corner with them. I noticed the weight savings over the stock cans right away.

Boy, that looks great freq, good work.

A local riding buddy of mine (Bigkid - makes infrequent appearances here on the board) had a set of those pipes on his RC last summer - you're right, they are LOUD (but sound good).

How are the the Devil OVO pipes? I was going to get the carbon fiber version of those because I can still leave my rear pegs and not have to tell my girlfriend she can't ride with me.

Devil pipes are great sounding. Check 'em out at devilbikes.com. I had one on my 929. They didn't make a highmount for the RC, and thats what I really wanted.
