Re: o4 RC at home!!!

Nice bike! One of these days, I'll ride an RC and see what they're like. They were a very close second when I opted for the 'Blade, but there's no saying I couldn't go ahead and have both anyway.

Anyone going to be at T.W.O. in Suches, GA anytime soon that wants to swap out a test ride with a hopped up 'Blade?

Cheers!
Dan

Looks really nice.

I'm still out on the white/silver and unpainted frame however. The black just 'looks' better. Such is the burdens one must bear.

Re: o4 RC at home!!!

God, that's beautiful.

There is a guy here in town with an RC and a 2-into-1 Jardine system w/ti tubing. It's LOUD AS HELL.

What's yours sound like?

Edit: where the hell's your brake light and turn signals?

I've got that same full Ti 2:1 Jardine. It is defenitly loud as all hell. But, OMG is it a wonderfull sound.

http://phantom.kirenet.com/~haywood/msgboard/RC-640.jpg

Edit:

Sorry, had it 'flat' mode....

Yes, it's quite loud but the above still applies (if I could rip farts like this thing sounds, I'd be a god amongst men). The tail-lights have been moved almost flush and at the same angle as the undertail. It's defenitly very hard to see in the daylight. The bike came with the undertail, and the stock box-section has been hacked off, so I'm kinda stuck with it until I look into a full replacement kit. On a good note, it is an LED kit, so when you can see it, it's pretty darn bright. The rear turnsignals are the halogen kind (but not K&S (so not SAE/DOT CA. legal)) and are pretty damn bright. I use the K&S on my SuperHawk and they're just as bright.

Now that I have my helmetcamera back in my posession, I guess I need to make a video, eh?

Man, that fuggin' exhaust kicks some serious ass. Really looks (and sounds) like an AMA Superbike!

Very nice!!

Tsk tsk Chain, that should read "where in the hell are your brake light and turn signals?"

Either way, it looks to me like one of those lexan jobbies that were all the rage on '51s a couple years ago. The lights are mounted up inside the undertail, and the lexan material is either clear or smoked, allowing the lights to be somewhat seen through the undertail.
I remember reading about quite a few riders that did this only to junk it because the lights weren't all that visible and the material ended up looking like **** after a few hundred miles.

By god you're right BDA. Gimme a break though, I was an English Comp minor (not my major, lol).

I guess I didn't look very closely at that undertail setup, but what you're saying rings a bell with me. A little too bling for my taste, but the kid's got a nice bike nonetheless.

Brake lights and turn signal are set up in the tail and shine through the mirror finish. Mine are not in the picture but you can see better here =====>

I recommend you listen to a sato banzai mounted rc soon. There is NO comparison. Your duc will sound weak.

I like the way it looks too, even if I am not a fan of the jardine stuff.

That's pretty funny because the guy I'm talking about with the RC and 2-1 Jardine had Sato Banzais before he bought the Jardine pipe. Personally, I didn't think there was a world of difference, but maybe I've got wax in my years.

And what's this thread have to do with my Ducati?
