| Clear Coating does make a difference A few months ago, I had all the plastic clear coated to protect it for the duration. Makes a huge difference, and is much cheaper than painting.
Can you tell the difference between the stock fairing?

You can get as many layers as you want applied, the more the shinier. I got the guy to cut me a deal, $450 for all of it (not the tank, it comes cleared from the factory). |
