| PCIIIr map Where can I find the newest/best map for an 02' RC-51 with Sato bonzai's? I have found a few different ones ie rogue and powercommanders site. But the problem is I have found several different ones on rogue and don't know which one is the best. I want to put the PCIIIr in tomorrow and don't want to have to mess around with different maps afterwords.

| Re: PCIIIr map I say, try them out. A friend of mine did exactly that. I'd put a map in his RC, he'd take it for a spin, come back, and try another. Eventually, from the six or so maps we tried, he picked the one that he liked most. Months later, he's still happy with it.

| Re: PCIIIr map When you could just get the thing mapped right first off, and it be perfect everywhere. There's no "best" map for any one bike that you're gonna get off the net. What's good for one bike is not going to be good for another. That's why you should get it custom mapped. |

FWIW I had Dan Kyle preload the Sato Banzai map for my 03, and so far I have not been able to make it better. |

That was taking it to a dyno, and farting around with it. |

| Re: PCIIIr map Well, instead of fartin around with it............... try getting a custom map done for it. I am yet to see a pre-done map be as good as a custom map. |

SO, i have to travel a little to a place that knows their $hit. that will be this spring...so I will let you know.
I know the stock map that DK set up seems a little rich judging by the end of the satos...but maybe it is suppose to be like that. Ether way, I am going to get it dialed in this spring. |

| Re: PCIIIr map Dan Kyle maps are custom maps. do you think he just guesses at the placments?? LOL For a while the best power was gotton from the sato low mounts but a few months ago he got even better from the banzis'...just e-mail him and ask for it. or go over to rc51.com and ask member sp2pilot, i think he has the map. |

| Re: PCIIIr map Yep. A CUSTOM map is NOT a map done by someone else on a different bike, for another bike........................... a custom map is ONLY a map done for THAT SPECIFIC bike. Now you know. Haha |
