| Sell me on the RC51. I am planning on turning my 98' into a naked street fighter and I was going to pick up a new RR. Recently I've been thinking about the RC, especially w/ the new paint scheme. I know that it's a great bike but I prefer the power delivery of a inline four to that of a V-twin. Athough I have never ridden an RC I'm making my comparisons to the Harley I borrowed a few years back for Daytona Bike Week. Is the power delivery similar or is it completly different? More importantly, are the ergos more comfortable on the RC compared to the RR? Why do I want an RC over an RR? |

But its really a matter of what you are looking for. RC is heavier then most but with a little work you can help that and besides its really not noticeable once you are on the move.
The pull from 1-6 is insane (i re-geared -1fr/+2rear) and it now has the power right where it needs to be
And like I mentioned in the other thread screech or thump and how much you really want to stand out Here is my last effort on the sale |

If I could ride a Fiddy-Juan 600 miles in a day and not need chiropractic aftercare, it's probably the bike I'd own right now.
Anyway, whatever gets your blood pumpin', I say. The RC's got alot going for it.

Screw the RC51, get a real bike, like the Hayabusa.
OK, just kidding. I tried to talk my better half into letting me get an RC along with the 'busa, just can't afford it right now. |

If you're serious, I can email you the .psd and you could have them done locally. |

| Re: Sell me on the RC51. A V-Twin Sport bike with Honda's styling and quality!!
'Nuff said!! (BTW, I don't own one, maybe next year.)
Two more things:
That has to be the first time the word Harley was used in the same sentence as RC!! Anyone else pick that up??
BDA, that P/Chop was awesome. You have a real talent for colours that look gay!! (I wonder if that talent is like The Blues, you have to live them first before you can play them?? )

the RC is a sport bike. it's not the fastest. it's not the slowest. it has certain qualities that you can't fine in a GSXR, or a CBR. it's a twin with fuel injection and dual exhaust and a racing history. go to a bike night and see how many RC's there are. you can't swing a dead cat in a circle and not hit a GSXR..........
Harley's don't turn, stop or accelerate like a sport bike and you can't compare anything on them, with the possible exception of torque, due to both being v-twins. the RC has injectors for each cylinder and Harleys have one carb for two cylinders or a throttle body unit. then there's the OCC bikes............
300mm tires are like trying to lean a flat-bottomed boat on your driveway..
you either like the RC or you don't.
