Steering Damper

Ok , the SP-2 is paid for , ordered and will be here in a couple days in a crate ready for me to assemble and start for the first time .

In the meantime im chaing up some bits and peices , and a Q i have is about a good steering damper . I was looking into a Scotts or the GPR ? . Its a 90% street bike with some occasional track days , and i kind of like the "lean down one hand" adjustment .

Opinions ? thoughts ? exp ?

(PS why wont the CP area allow me to add a sig file? ... cant find it)

Just a thought but from what I hear if you get your suspension setup right on the RC the damper could be put off a little bit

Re: Steering Dampener

Ohlins doesn't offer the kit for the SP2 anymore, so you'll have to go the Harris route if you want the mount. I'd get the Scotts unit, it will transfer to other bikes.

that is with the harris mount from www.EMA-USA.com

IMO the scotts just looks like a Hemorrhoid on the tripple.
