00 Had spool mounts
01 for some reason didnt 02-Current SP2

In other words are there any points at which one year would be a better start point for a track bike.

I dont know about loosing weight... if they did sure it wasnt that big a deal
Forks were always inverted
I know they did some engine work for the SP2 but honestly I dont remember what it was |

Originally Posted by sheepofblue Also where does the Hawk set on the scale? | About the same weight as the RC. Whether it's more or less is fairly moot. The RC spins up the motor faster and farther, so there's more power longer. Also the RC turns much faster than the `hawk. Body position is pretty different between the two. Riding my `hawk now feels like sitting 'in' it vs. 'on and over it' with the RC.
FWIW, the RC and the SuperHawk both make about the same torque numbers. Just the RC makes more horsies because of the longer rpm range. My `hawk feels like it's about to rattle itself apart >= 8K on the tach.
Might help out a bit with whatever decision you're making (get the RC). |

since it don't say whats on it I will: Mig High mounts with peg relocaters, vortex rear sets red hugger, undertail (I think with tail lights), Dubble Bubble ZG screen, flush mount front signals.
