| Hacksaw the footpeg Is a hacksaw sharp enough to cut off the stem of the footpeg? Damn those things are long.

| Re: Hacksaw the footpeg Folks take hacksaws to their bikes all the time, lopping off the mudflap for instance? So what's the big deal with cutting off the hero bobbins? (For the record, I'm against taking a cutting instrument to any part of my motorcycle. Either buy an undertray or leave the mudflap intact.)  |

Actually, I dremel'd the mudflap off my 929. It was cheap, and it looks great. Undertails are expensive, and they often fit poorly. Don't some of them require cutting for installation? If done correctly, no doubt they look nice, but my "hackjob" is really pretty nice!  |
