No more Sato clip-ons?

I was thinking of getting Sato clip-ons and was looking for instructions online to see what's involved in removing the stock handles and putting on Satos. Haven't found squat, so any help is appreciated. In the process I noticed Sato removed their Clip-Ons page from their web site so I called and they said they are not making those anymore but are re-designing all their clip-ons and will offer new ones. No time frame was given.

Sato, Vortex, PVM, Pro-Tek, Woodcraft, so many to choose from.

First they stop making the Ti sidestand and now this? The horror! I'm sure they'll come out with a new and improved design soon enough. They are on my list but I'm sure there's a pair out there somewhere if I look hard enough.

Their design was a PVM copy. Who knows why they stopped.

i just got some Dan Kyle clip-ons. they are supposed to be Sato replicas. only difference is that they are not hand-cuff style.

Re: No more Sato clip-ons?

The Dan Kyle site has been down for awhile now. He does have some nice clip ons as well as other RC parts.

Re: No more Sato clip-ons?

+1 for the Kyle clip-ons. I perfer the non handcuff style due to a more solid mount. They kyles are beautiful, easy to install, awesome adjustability, and very very durable during a crash! The only thing you will also need is Dan's billet bar ends, again very very nice stuff and even eliminated some vibration in the bars. you can call at 1-866-667-4925 and ask for Dan or Alex....tell em Mike from Discount Tire in Las Vegas sent ya!
