| Re: Porn ya know Chain, I've been lusting after one of those myself...I've already made the decision that my next ride will be a twin...so that narrows my choices down a lot...the "stealth" RC51 is definitely near the top of that very short list....man, that thing is gorgeous!!!
EDIT: I would like to see Honda give the venerable RC51 an update...I know, I know...they probably won't since it's not their racing platform anymore, but I can dream, can't I?
Radial brakes, more aerodynamic styling, upgraded suspension bits, improved ergos, more powerful engine maybe...I think it'd be an attractive package to a niche group of people looking for something different...

| Re: Porn You don't want one of those. It's overweight, underpowered and only homos ride them. Remember?
Seems like all the I4 riders are getting sick of pulling up to the local posing spot and seeing 10 bikes identical to theirs. |

And if they ever decide to FI the superhawk, I would buy one.

In the end, it's nothing more than heavy breathing over a goodie I know I can't have... finances demand I remain a Suzook guy.
Besides, the busa is a better bike for anything but a track day IMO.

| Re: Porn I ran across a used 04 (I think, the silver-framed Nicky replica) at the Honda dealership today. Has Satos on it, the long Ti pipes, and some other goodies. They're asking around 9K for it. I drooled on it a little... |

It would be a perfect replacement for the RC51. The day Honda decides to build it is the day I put a deposit down for one.
Unfortunately, Honda Japan is worse than Mercedes when it comes to their American counterparts designing and building something they couldn't. Honda Japan killed it because it wasn't theirs, just as Mercedes killed the ME412 that Chrysler designed, built and destroyed the SLR with in half the time (although there was/is a list of buyers ready to buy every one of them). |
