RC51 compatible for 6'3" rider?

My current steed is a 929, but I've been drooling over the RC51 lately and thinking it might be time to make the jump to the v-twin. I've never sat on an RC just wondering how it fits us taller riders?

TIA

You really have to sit on it. 6'3 might still mean comparitively short arms. I am a small rider (5'4) myself but I am the most comfortable on a Hayabusa which is a really big bike. Everyone is built different.

I'm 6'3" and it's not too bad. I just bought some DK clipons and some Sato rearsets so this will allow me some flexibility in the comfort dept.

I'm 6'5" and it isn't a problem. However, I don't ride it on the street so your mileage may vary.

Just to add one more testimonial, I have a buddy who's close to 6'5" and owns an RC51.

Re: RC51 compatible for 6'3" rider?

Well, I'm 6'3" and 300lb with a 32" inseam, and I fit the RC perfectly! The onlt thing I needed was a taller screen seeing as my mass would not let me get as low on the tank as I would like!

Re: RC51 compatible for 6'3" rider?

The biggest difference I've noticed is getting new rear sets. I have Sato and they are up 1 inch and back 1 inch. My ride is much more comfortable compared to stock. Definitely more accomodating for taller riders.
