I wouldn't consider any of them a good deal per se, but everything in life is negotiable. I'll post more as they come up. |

That was my feeling and the one I found was low miles with all the stock parts at a decent price. Just an FYI I have removed none of his mods yet

| Re: Good price on RC? The one on EBay sold last minute. I had emailed the dealer b/c I didn't want to buy a bike without talking to someone first. Unfortunately they weren't there this weekend.
I want a brand-new '03 or '04 RC as a long-term keeper. The mods will come later, but slowly due to cash available unless I sell the 954. I put 700 miles on it in the past three mornings, and am not sure I can let it go (I know, again lol.) I'm making some new goals in life, and one includes starting track-days next year, possibly on the 954.
If there was an extremely clean used RC w/in a 2hr drive from me I'd consider it.
The dealer I buy from was really busy on Sat and didn't get a chance to return my call. I'm going to try and get in touch again tomorrow. I never thought I'd look forward to the end of a 3-day weekend lol. |

| Re: Good price on RC? I don't need a lot of speed for the track considering the fact that I've never been on one. I'm sure I could spend the next 10yrs learning to exploit the 954's potential.
I've loved the RC for years. Right now I'd like to get one and spend the next few years making it just the way I want it. It's not something I'd plan to let go of for a long, long time.

Less worries on shifting and more linear power I think others could give you a better opinion but I am already plotting more stuff for the RC...

| Re: Good price on RC? Best offer I have within 4 hours drive is $9,800 OTD. Good price?
I've found some 16hrs away for $9,500, but I'd spend that in gas, hotel, etc. Shipping would bring it up to around $9,800.

| Re: Good price on RC? I think Rigor bought his '03 leftover for much less than that. I believe my dealer had it listed for low 8's so OTD wouldn't be that much more. Hopefully he'll chime in. I'll ask them to check local inventories for leftovers and see what they can come up w/. We're only about 2 hrs away from you. |

I wasn't in a position to buy another bike last year, and passed on some leftover 03's. I could have had one for $8,300 OTD. Now, no one can find any new 03's.
Thanks! |

| Re: Good price on RC? Bad news: You missed the Honda incentive program by 1.5 months. They had $800 off the leftover 04's back in may and are offering no incentives now.
Good news: While there are no 03's in any of the Honda wharehouses, there are leftover 04's in every one. I've heard of some leftover 03's on dealership floors so hopefully you can get lucky on one of them. There's no market for overweight, underpowered, outdated leftovers so you won't have to worry about them 04's flying out of the wharehouse under your nose. |

| Re: Good price on RC? Thanks Jami. Getting closer to what I want. I might have found an '04 close enough to pick up for $9,200. Found an '03 for $8,500, but it's 16hrs each way.
Where in Northampton are you? I grew up in Holland, went to Council Rock HS '89. |

| Re: Good price on RC? I've got a 01 929 that I bought 2 weeks ago with 300 miles on it and I love it. My wife has an Erion 929 and it's a great bike too. I'm kinda glad we have both, it gives me a really good handle on the highs and lows of both. |
