| what gas do you use? with the gas shortage that we are having in this area....i am having to put 87 in my rc51. will this harm the bike? i dont want to damage anything.  |

"92 (or higher)"
"Your engine is designed to use any gasoline that has a pump octane of 92 or highter. Gasoline pumps at service stations normally display the pump octane number"
I usually run Chevron by choice followed by Exxon then Shell and always premium. The RR gets the same and the Ascot gets regular. |

| Re: what gas do you use? I believe the RC51's spec premium. But as long as your not on it hard enough to make it ping it will be fine. |

| Re: what gas do you use? 87 should be fine. I ran it in my RC for 5K miles or so, and it didnt hiccup once. Put the 87 in and if it starts pinging, add some ctane booster, but only enough for 4 gallons.
