 | Re: triple tree help? Im assuming your forks are off. Take the nut off of the top triple and pull it off. Under the top triple are 2 nuts that require a special tool, but to take them off, you can use a hammer and punch and gently tap them loose. I would highly reccomend getting the tool to put them back on. The top is a lock nit so tap it loose and back it off, then repeat with the bottom. Once you have these off, you may have to tap on the steering stem with a dead-blo mallet, and it should drop out of the bottom. This is off the top of my head. If I can find my old RC manual Ill double check it and edit anything that is off. Chris |
