Lowering the RC51 I wanted to lower my RC a bit since my feet dont completely touch the ground. Is there any way of adjusting the spring perch or any method of lowering the RC a few millimeters? Will this effect the ride quality or performance of the bike? Anyone have an experience with this before?

Re: Lowering the RC51 Lowering will affect ground clearance and handling, depending on how much it's lowered. A definite consideration if you take it to the track. You just want to lower it a few millimeters? Will that make much difference in touching the ground? I can't flatfoot any bike, and it's not an issue for me, I'm 5'5". I'd rather get one foot planted when I stop than affect the handling of my bike, but that's just me.

Re: Lowering the RC51 i had the same issue with my rc. and after riding it for a little while you will adjust to stopping and parking. im only 5'3 and ride my rc like i stole it. if you can manage without lowering i would do so....dont compromise the stability of the bike , besides you only need a foot on the ground when you are stopped......lol.
