| Recommended Tires I've got a slow leak in my rear tire. The current set of tires on my bike are Pirelli Diablo Corsa. They've been pretty good for riding but they are a little harder than most tires. They are guaged for 50/50 Street vs Track. The only thing I've compared them to are RC51 stock tires. I'm not sure if I should slap another Diablo Corsa on there or go with something different like the regular Pirelli Diablo (80/20 street vs track). Honestly I really don't ride the track much. Far less than I thought compared to when I first got the Diablo Corsa. It's more about the twisties in the mountains for me. Should I go with something like a Diablo 80/20 street/track or a 100% street tire like the Diablo Strada? Any other brands that kick-ass?
Thanks..

| Re: Recommended Tires I still have an M1 rear sitting in the basement but once that's done I'll probably try the pilots. Seems like all the new tires coming out are very decent. |

| Re: Recommended Tires I'd stick to the Corsa. Even if you don't ride the track much, good tires are cheap insurance. |

| Re: Recommended Tires I agree, saving $50 on tires will cost you $500 in repairs when you lowside. That being said, you can't go wrong with good tires. I personally love the Pilot Powers on the road and minimal track time. VERY sticky and short warmup time. |

| Re: Recommended Tires Not sure the Strada. However on the RR I ran a set of Corsas and regular Daiblos. The mileage difference was small and the grip difference noticable (not huge though) I have a set of Diablos back on it

| Re: Recommended Tires I ended up going with Pilots on the front and rear. No one had the Diablo Corsa rear tire in stock and it was $280 special order + 7 days if waiting to arrive (feels like an eternity). So far the Pilot Powers are great. No complaints.

| Re: Recommended Tires i had a continental on my 954 for about 2 weeks.. i dont remember what kind of continental it was, but it was cheap. i think i paid around 90 bucks for it brand new from a shop i do a lot of business with.....even with playing with the pressures it felt like i had a bald tire on back, the thing would not grip through the corners at all...i just did several burnouts and killed that tire in less than 2 weeks, now i got pilot powers put on (for 256$!), and love them...they seem to slide a bit more than the battleax bt001's i had on, but i havent ridden them real hot yet either...plus i think they are one of the neatest looking tires out there |
