I'll be draining the antifreeze soon, but the bike sits in an unheated garage so I want to wait until I can be SURE that it won't freeze overnight... I have a school on May 24th so I'll probably do it then. |

EDIT: Notice the JD in the background NinerPilot and twice | That's a funny car crankcase breather connected to one of Thorstens breather nozzle's. Since the bike has a sealed type 2 airbox, I certainly didn't want any interference from the crankcase venting into the airbox or pressure from the airbox cavitating the oil pan. This had a very positive effect on the engine above 8K and is standard fair for many V-Twin dragbikes. |

Originally Posted by CBR929RE ok spill it, what HRC parts you got on there besides the case cover? | All of the RCs have HRC covers. The motor is stock except for the airbox, breather system and HRC midpipe section on the Akro exhaust. The stock battery was 86'd and replaced with the smaller one mounted in the engine V. I have a custom rear subframe with all of the electronics on an aluminum tray (thus the lexan cover). It's well prepped but really no major stuff. It has an 03 swingarm, Kyle link, custom revalved Ohlins 3 way shock and Kyle forks.
The engine makes over 100 horsepower and I can prove it.
I would love new wheels, radiators and a slipper clutch, but for track days and such, it's a well developed and reliable package. |

not a bad list of mods there at all. I've heard that bike is pretty thunderous when coming up behind you.

I've heard that bike is pretty thunderous when coming up behind you. | As far as I know, it's one of the quietest RCs on the track (Akro Euro Noise Conformance cans). It does honk as it has absolutely no baffling, air filter or anything on the intake tract, just the 32 liter airbox. |

According to some of the original docs, the entire package (both race and street) came out of the street shop and not the factory. Dunno if this is really the case, but looking at the numbers, it doesn't seem too far fetched. |
